Well I have been stout for the biggest part of life, thanks to my love for beers. But this is not about in what shape I am in today or was. Today it is all about Stout by Boat Rocker!!
I was gifted this beer by a dear friends who knows about my love for beers and me reviewing them. He just handed me a couple and one of many was this super smooth Stout.
Stout is not for everyone or rather everyone is not made for Stout, lets put it that way. My first Stout was when I first traveled to Switzerland, and I instantly fell in love with it. Unfortunately I never got another chance to have one until this one.
There is no denying that Boat Rocker has done an amazing job with this one. My wife who is extremely picky when it comes to her spirits surprisingly, Loved It!!! I was of the opinion that who ever enjoys black coffee would enjoy Stout, Nah!! I am wrong. I have been a Pale Ale guy so far and I really did switch gears with this one but despite my unparalleled and biased love for Pale Ale I love this.
Although I think it does get a bit bitter when it gets warm but when Ice Cold, this one just Rocks Your Boat!!
I would have this on lazy nights and not pair it with a pizza as the Stout does seem a bit on a heavier side. I surprisingly had it in summer and with winter at my door I plan to try if it will be any good as a warm beer?
